The Geekery Market Spotlight: The Rooted Dandelion Tea Co.

Welcome to The Geekery Market (formerly the Muggles Market). We are excited for our next event – just in time for all your geeky holiday shopping needs! As usual, we’ll be introducing you all to our artisans/authors/artists, sponsors, and activities for the Market every week as we get closer to the big day.

Please allow me to introduce to you one of our new artisians, The Rooted Dandelion Tea Co.! Kiersten Keipper creates herbal tea blends for every day care from their home in Charlotte, NC. They also make some lovely bath and skin care products. So that you can get to know this artisan better, we’ve asked them to tell us a little about themselves and what they do.

Answers to our 5 Geeky Questions

Tell us about the geeky goodness you’ll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! I will be bringing a selection of my nerdy and whimsical tea blends. I’ll also have multiple gift sets available, just in time for the holidays!

How did you get started doing what you do? I started drinking tea for its health properties a few years ago, and was immediately hooked. It wasn’t long before I started coming up with my own blends that tied in with the fantasy worlds that I love.

What’s an item you are bringing that you are really excited about? My Necromancer tea blend, which hasn’t been released yet.

What else would you like everyone to know about your wares? Everything is handmade by me, and is the result of entirely too many hours spent recipe testing.

What’s your favorite holiday story? I re-read The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman at Halloween every year. (Halloween is the best holiday, in my opinion.)

Where you can find on the interwebs!

You can meet them in person and enjoy their work at The Geekery Market !
