What makes the Geekery Market unique?

  • We are a juried craft event, which means we limit the amount of sellers per category in order to ensure the best sales opportunities 
  • Started in 2016 (formerly known as the Muggles Market), we are seasoned event runners with a strong local community presence 
  • Our marketing program is year-round including in-person, local hotspots, print, social media, podcasting, and paid advertising 
  • We focus on the community – supporting small business and helping our neighbors through our food drive
  • Our goal is to ensure attendees want to stay longer and shop more
    • Admission is FREE which means they have more money to spend with our sellers
    • We run an hourly raffle so people stay just a little longer to see if they won 
    • We provide fun activities (many free) for all ages in a safe and inclusive environment
    • On-site concessions are available, and we provide seating for folks to rest and enjoy

What’s New For the November 2026 Show?

    • Booth Rates:  No increases this year!
    • AI Usage: We have added a new AI policy to our application, please review
    • 10 Years: This year marks 10 years, and we will be celebrating – more details to come!
    • Layout: Just a few minor tweaks:
      • Jedi Santa/TARDIS expanding and moving to the front, making space for another sponsor booth
      • We will not have a performer area this year, instead we will be playing geeky seasonal music over the upgraded (!) sound system (curated by Charlotte Geeks’ founding member DJ Spider

Please note: Although we will give every consideration and try to accommodate specific space requests, we ask for all applicants to be flexible. Careful planning goes into our layout to incorporate things such as aesthetic variety, traffic flow, cohesiveness, and general event ambience.
