As usual, we’ll be introducing you all to our artisans/authors/artists, sponsors, and activities for the Market every week as we get closer to the big day.

Answers to our 5 Geeky Questions
Tell us about the geeky goodness you’ll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! I make whimsical decor, art, functional works, and fun accessories! I use a mix of paint, resin, flowers, wood, crystals, and allllll of the glitter. I have fun with it and create from my own little fairy world, so everything is unique and one of a kind!
How did you get started doing what you do?My introduction to resin started because I wanted to make myself a paint palette during quarantine. However, I’ve been doing anything I could get my hands on, art related, as far back as I can remember. I fell into making Art to sell during the uncertain madness that was quarantine times, and here we are! I’m lucky enough to create full time.
What’s an item you are bringing that you are really excited about? I’m always excited to make some really fun alien/ magical/ fantasy art for this event. I get to really bring out all of my alien/weird energy because I’ll be among my people here, so to speak.
What else would you like everyone to know about your wares? I’m just grateful to share my aesthetic and be given the chance to feel seen among like minded people!
What’s your favorite holiday story? I keep Christmas movies running around the clock during the holidays! I love Elf, the Grinch, Bad Santa, Edward Scissorhands- too many to choose!

You can meet them in person and enjoy their work at The Geekery Market ! Come see us on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10am to 4PM at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center – 4751 NC Highway 49 (Event Center B). The event is FREE to the public, but we are requesting a donation of canned goods or cash which goes to our charity, Second Harvest Metrolina . Please note that this location does charge for parking: $8 per car, $15 per van, $25 per bus (credit/debit only). See you there!
