As usual, we’ll be introducing you all to our artisans/authors/artists, sponsors, and activities for the Market every week as we get closer to the big day.
Please allow me to introduce to you one of our artisans, Haunted Underwoods. Haunted Underwoods is a self-taught artist proficient in a variety of styles.

Tell us about the geeky goodness you’ll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! We specialize in nostalgic and geek crossovers.
From a build your own poster Pokemon dungeon set, Final Fantasy 14 characters with their Pokemon, to playmats for Digimon and One Piece. As well as an array of original works based on our Dungeons and Dragons group.
How did you get started doing what you do?Art and drawing for geeky things I love has been something I’ve been doing since I was a kid, but I really got stated making a living out of it when a local Game Shop we frequented mentioned wanting to get more items made by locals, I had been working on some designs for some personal use stuff and figured why not share it with others.
What’s an item you are bringing that you are really excited about? I’m so excited to bring and share my build your own Pokemon poster. It’s such a fun concept and really calls back to old stickerbooks I got when I was younger that let you build a screen how you wanted
What else would you like everyone to know about your wares? We strive to bring things that not only can you display but use. Durable keychains, stitched edges on the playmats, protective water proofing on the stickers, we want you to be able to use these, without the worry about messing them up!
What’s your favorite holiday story? I’m the biggest sucker for Nightmare Before Christmas, Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and something about that one is just classic!

To pre-order any items for at-con delivery, send us an email to [email protected] with the items and qty you would like and an invoice will be sent. Upon payment your goods are secure and you can come pick them up at the table!
You can meet them in person and enjoy their work at The Geekery Market ! Come see us on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10am to 4PM at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center – 4751 NC Highway 49 (Event Center B). The event is FREE to the public, but we are requesting a donation of canned goods or cash which goes to our charity, Second Harvest Metrolina . Please note that this location does charge for parking: $8 per car, $15 per van, $25 per bus (credit/debit only). See you there!
