The Geekery Market Spotlight: Distracted Dragon 3D

Welcome to The Geekery Market (formerly the Muggles Market). We are excited for our next event – just in time for all your geeky holiday shopping needs! As usual, we’ll be introducing you all to our artisans/authors/artists, sponsors, and activities for the Market every week as we get closer to the big day.

Please allow me to introduce to you one of our artisians, Distracted Dragon 3D. Distracted Dragon 3D is also the where to find books by Patrick Dugan. Patrick resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife, two children and their spunky Cavalier King Charles, Blaze. In his spare time, he’s a PC gamer, homebrewer, 3D printer enthusiast, and DIYer. You can usually find him in the Hearthstone Tavern or wandering Azeroth as a Blood Elf Warlock in the evenings.

Answers to our 5 Geeky Questions

Tell us about the geeky goodness you’ll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! We will have all sorts of amazing 3D prints that make great gifts for the holidays. We will also have books by local author Patrick Dugan

How did you get started doing what you do? I got my 1st 3D printer in 2019 and started the business the following year. I pride myself on extremely high quality prints that will stand up to use and look great.

What’s an item you are bringing that you are really excited about? The 24 inch feathered winger serpent is amazing and such a great model.

What else would you like everyone to know about your wares? We only sell prints of the highest quality and that are properly licensed from the designers so that we are stealing from anyone by selling unauthorized goods.

What’s your favorite holiday story? Scrooged.
