Singer songwrighter Cory Davis is Ghost Fossils. He says “Ghosts are things that haunt you from your past. Photographs from relationships that have failed. Memories of so-called happier times that have been tainted by the reality that those times were doomed from the start. Songs that remind us that mistakes were made, hearts were broken, and from which we can learn that things can (and hopefully will) get better. Objects and memories that we bury and eventually uncover, like fossils that remind us that we’re all flawed, we all make mistakes and we all have the ability to grow and improve and ultimately find hope. So, yeah. Ghost Fossils. See what I did there? Ghost Fossils is a project that I (singer/songwriter Corey Davis) put together in 2020 to explore these concepts. I have a lot of baggage to unpack, and I’m looking forward to sharing the contents.”
