General Info for November 2024: 

  • Date:  Saturday, November 9th, 2024
  • Venue Address: Cabarrus Arena & Events Center – 4751 NC Highway 49 North, Concord, NC
  • Hours: 10 AM – 4 PM Rain or Shine (All spaces are indoors except where noted)
  • Setup/Breakdown:  Setup is 7 AM – 9:30 AM, Breakdown is 4 PM – 6 PM. Please plan accordingly.
  • Preferred Hotel: Hampton Inn & Suites (special 12% discount link when you click here)

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

  • DON’T BE LATE: Setup must be completed by 9:30am so that Joey can do a safety/security check of the area to ensure that wheelchairs and others can walk through. If you are not present and set up by 9:30am, we may give your space away.
  • SPACE SIZE: You must fit within your space! Please do not block or overlap into walkways, booth gaps or your neighbor’s space. PLEASE plan accordingly.
  • TABLECLOTHS: Tablecloths are NOT included with your space. Please make sure to bring some! Venue tables are 8′ x 30.”
  • PARKING: Your booth/group name will be on the free parking list.
  • ELECTRICITY: Electricity will not be available for the booths.
  • WiFi: ($10 VENUE CHARGE) Please let us know right away if you need one! Each code is good for 1 device
  • DECORATING CONTEST: We will award lunch for two for the best space presentation! We are looking for Geeky Holiday Spirit! Add some holly and be jolly – and you can eat lunch for free!
  • CHARITY RAFFLE: We will again be doing an hourly raffle for attendees who donate food/cash to the Second Harvest Food donation table. Please bring your donations to the check-in table if you would like to participate.
  • CONCESSIONS: The concessions stand will open at 8AM this year, with beverages and breakfast sandwiches available for purchase.
  • TABLE ASSISTANCE: We will have volunteers walking around throughout the event with bottles of water to keep you hydrated. They can also briefly watch your table for you so you can use the restroom and grab food from the concession stand. For liability reasons, they will NOT sell for you while you are away.
