Wizard Wares
Welcome to our latest Geekery Market Spotlight! Today we bring you a brand new (to us) artisian, Wizard Wares!
Wizard Wares specializes in handcrafted Lord of the Rings-inspired tobacco pipes. Bringing a touch of Middle-earth to your smoke. You can find me at your favorite friendly neighborhood farmer's market and pop-up vendor expos.
What Else You Should Know About Them:
Describe all the geeky goodness you'll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! What kind of items will you be selling?
We make Wizard Pipes, wool wizard hats, and foam swords for the halfings (kids).
What is something that surprised you about making / selling your wares?
How supportive the vendor community is to newcomers. I have spent so many hours next to, across from, and all other applicable prepositional phrases with vendors and they are all amazing. Mathematically speaking at least some of these folks could have been rude - and yet every single fellow vendor has continually shown kindness and understanding at these events. I have learned so much from this community, and love getting to meet vendors just as much as people who visit the Wizard Wares booth.
What has been one of your favorite stories so far while running your business?
Matthews Comic Con was such a fun event! The amazing vendors and the the cosplay wrestling were such joys to behold. Watching children cheer on Spiderman in a ladder match against Bane remains a top tier memory.
What is an interesting fact about your wares / business that you want to make sure everyone knows?
I am NOT an undercover cop lol. The number of people who ask this question always makes me giggle.
Looking over the list of artisans this year, what is one of the booths you are looking forward to visiting?
I am always eager to meet local authors!
