Welcome to The Geekery Market (formerly the Muggles Market). We are excited for our next event – just in time for all your geeky holiday shopping needs! As usual, we’ll be introducing you all to our artisans/authors/artists, sponsors, and activities for the Market every week as we get closer to the big day.
To start, please allow me to introduce one of our artists, Greg Russell Graphics & Illustration! Greg is a returning artist to our Markets. They also have created our logos and other art for The Geekery Market. You may have seen their art around town, including places such as Pinky’s Westside Grill. So that you can get to know this artisan better, we’ve asked them to tell us a little about themselves and what they do.

Greg’s Answers to our 5 Geeky Questions
Tell us about the geeky goodness you’ll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! I’ll have superhero, monster, and science fiction art prints, posters, stickers and t-shirts. You can also pick up free copies of my Inx comic book/’zine.
How did you get started doing what you do? My father would bring home stacks of comic books when I had a cold or the flu, and I would copy the art, trying to draw like the masters. I’m still trying.
What’s an item you are bringing that you are really excited about? I will bring free copies of Inx, my quarterly anthology comic book/‘zine.
What else would you like everyone to know about your wares? I will also have my 8”x10” superhero and Godzilla art prints and my B-movie posters.
What’s your favorite holiday story? (book, film, or real life) “A Christmas Story” is my favorite.

50% nonrefundable deposit required. $5 is added for postage inside the U.S, $10 for outside the U.S.

Come see us on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10am to 4PM at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center – 4751 NC Highway 49 (Event Center B). The event is FREE to the public, but we are requesting a donation of canned goods or cash which goes to our charity, Second Harvest Metrolina . Please note that this location does charge for parking: $7 per car, $15 per van, $25 per bus (credit/debit only). See you there!
