Spotlight on: Space Wizard Science Fantasy
Today we welcome back to The Geekery Market Space Wizard Science Fantasy, an indie publisher focusing primarily on queer and BIPOC writers and stories. They pride themselves on making sure authors get great exposure and marketing for their books. They are headed by William Tracy, an NC native and a lifelong fan of science fiction and fantasy. He has also trained in Wado-Ryu karate since 2003 and runs his own dojo in Raleigh NC. He is an avid video and board gamer, a beekeeper, a reader, and of course, a writer.

1) You can always buy direct from our website at https://space-wizard.square.site/. If you want the item as a preorder for the Geekery Market, just send a note to wctracy@williamctracy at the same time, and I will mark down the item. 2) You can also see the books that are coming soon here: https://www.spacewizardsciencefantasy.com/coming-soon 3) We also have a campaign every June, which is a GREAT way to preorder books and support the business! Check it out here: https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/space-wizard-science-fantasy/space-wizard-science-fantasy-year-3. All June, you can order any of the existing Space Wizard products, as well as any of the books releasing from June 2024 to June 2025. If you let me know you'll be at the market, I'll be happy to bring any books that are out at that time (likely the first 6-7 releases).
What Else You Should Know About Them:
Describe all the geeky goodness you'll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! What kind of items will you be selling?
Space Wizard Science Fantasy is an NC small press focusing on telling queer science fiction and fantasy stories. We have almost 40 titles available and more on the way. We also sell cool keychains, stickers, buttons, and pins, as well as homemade beeswax candles from our apiary, and occasionally, seasonal jellies.
Come see them live at The Geekery Market on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 10am to 4PM at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center – 4751 NC Highway 49 (Event Center B). The event is FREE to the public, but we are requesting a donation of canned goods or cash which goes to our charity, Second Harvest Metrolina.
This location does charge for parking: $10 per car (credit/debit only). See you there!
