What Else You Should Know About Them:
What kind of geeky goodness will you be bringing with you to the next Geekery Market?
Gammies Jams and More will be bringing small batch created wine jellies, fruit jams, and infused candies.
What's an item you are bringing that you are really excited about?
I am really excited about bringing my new gummy worms to the Geekery. It's our newest line of candies and they come in several different flavors.
What was the first item you ever made? How did you learn to make it?
The first item I ever made was strawberry jam. I learned to make it because my daughter is a teacher and takes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to school every, so I started making it for her. I am a self taught jelly maker, who enjoys making jams and jellies with different types of ingredients.
What else would you like everyone to know about your wares?
Our wine jellies are made with actual wine. We have sweet rose' to fruity reds, a little something for everyone. Our fruit jams are made with freshly picked Carolina produce. Our infused candies are made with liquor, but the alcohol is burned off in the cooking process leaving the flavors behind.
If you could travel anywhere in space or time, real or imagined, where would you want to go?
If I could travel anywhere, I would like to go travel to space to see the aurora borealis above planet Earth.
Come see them live at The Geekery Market on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 10am to 4PM at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center - 4751 NC Highway 49 (Event Center B). The event is FREE to the public, but we are requesting a donation of canned goods or cash which goes to our charity, Second Harvest Metrolina.
This location does charge for parking: $8 per car (credit/debit only). See you there!
