NC Pixie Creations brings fantasy to life—one stitch at a time! Specializing in handmade crochet plushies inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, mythical beasts, and all things magically nerdy, we create one-of-a-kind companions for adventurers of all ages. From cuddly mimics to fierce red dragons, every piece is crafted with love, detail, and a dash of magic. Whether you're a lifelong dice-roller, fantasy fan, or just looking to embrace your inner geek, we've got a plushie for your party.

Describe all the geeky goodness you'll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! What kind of items will you be selling?
While we will bring your traditional plushies such as cows, dogs, cats, and more - we will have dragons of all sizes, mindflayers, beholders, and more fantastical creatures such as mermaids and unicorns.
What is something that surprised you about making / selling your wares?
While I enjoy seeing kids light up when hugging their new plush friend, seeing a fellow fan see one of their favorite creatures in plush form grin, laugh, and share stories is a special treat.
What has been one of your favorite stories so far while running your business?
A boy, about 7 or so, bought a red dragon (he named the dragon "Rojo"). A few months later, he saw me again at another market, Rojo in hand. He was so excited to find Rojo a friend -- he walked away with Verde, a green frog. The love this kid had for his new dragon friend makes every stitch worth it.
What is an interesting fact about your wares / business that you want to make sure everyone knows?
All of my plushies are handmade by me from start to finish, and can take days or weeks to complete. As a D&D Gamer since the 1980s, many are inspired by actual D&D creatures and fantasy lore. Some have even made it into real tabletop campaigns as “emotional support monsters."
Looking over the list of artisans this year, what is one of the booths you are looking forward to visiting?
Mirabelli Studios - Ben's art is fantastic (especially his dragons and mermaids) and I can't wait to see it in person.
Come see them live at The Geekery Market on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 10am to 4PM at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center – 4751 NC Highway 49 (Event Center B). The event is FREE to the public, but we are requesting a donation of canned goods or cash which goes to our charity, Second Harvest Metrolina.
This location does charge for parking: $10 per car (credit/debit only). See you there!
