MULTIVERSE is an annual 3-day convention for fans of science fiction, fantasy, horror, gaming, art, and cosplay. The con takes place October 20-22, 2023 at the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North in Atlanta, Georgia. The 2023 Guests of Honor are author Rebecca Roanhorse, author Milton J. Davis, and illustrator Goni Montes.
Multiverse is a multi-fandom, volunteer run con with a focus on science fiction, fantasy, horror, tabletop and RPG gaming, and comics. You will have the opportunity to interact with and learn from over 100 creators – authors, artists, writers, editors, filmmakers, game designers, and cosplayers. Of course, as with most cons, there will also be parties, gaming, shopping, and social events. They even have a consuite that serves full meals for lunch and dinner, as well as providing snacks and drinks! Multiverse endeavors to be a fan-focused community experience.
Multiverse boasts 10 tracks of programming:
Geek – three rooms all about geeking out over your favorite things, divided into three genre: SciFi, Fantasy, and Horror
Play – gaming, of course
Write – All about the business, art, and craft of writing.
Art – A mixture of panels, demos, classes, and get-togethers all about art.
Create – Geeky crafts to make and take home.
Meet – A mix of games, activities, and discussions with the people who make the creations you love.
Learn – Interesting academic presentations.
Gather – Live podcasts, karaoke, dance parties, and more.
