Welcome to Studio Crisalyn, home of the revolutionary Fussy-Cut Free sticker and premium journaling supplies! Our story began with a simple mission: to make journaling and crafting more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. What started as a passion for paper crafting and sticker design has grown into a beloved brand in the journaling community. We recognized the frustration crafters faced with traditional stickers that required tedious cutting and fussy trimming. That's when we pioneered our signature borderless kiss-cut stickers - the original Fussy-Cut Free design that changed everything.

What Else You Should Know About Them:

Describe all the geeky goodness you'll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! What kind of items will you be selling?

We sell vintage, bookish, fantasy and scifi themed Sticker sheets and Diecut Sets. We also offer a Build-n-Bind notebook bar where you can customize a one of a kind notebook for yourself or as a gift. The bar has 10+ paper options and over 40 cover options to choose from! We also curate kawaii themed washi tape and Sticker rolls for the Planner Community.

What is something that surprised you about making / selling your wares?

I was surprised by the response to my ideas and designs. I have always been told "Wow Fe you made this? You should totally sell that" and though I didn't doubt they were right I just never had the added push to make it a reality until I entered the Junk Journaling Community on TikTok in 2023. Customers around the world surprised me with their steadfast loyalty to the brand, showing up again and again to purchase every quarterly drop we have, Stepping out into the Charlotte community in person this year has been so eye opening as well. Not only are there more stationary geeks like me here than I anticipated, but it has been so fun to meet people who get my humor and/ or share my passions in this little city!

What has been one of your favorite stories so far while running your business?

That really made me think... Doing business online in the last 3 years I think one of my favorite stories is the origin of the "Get the Drop Box". I was live and I was doing a "sneak peak showing" of the items that would drop at the end of that week, and someone in the comments asked if there could be a button where they could just press it and it would put it all in their cart in one go. Of course Shopify could not do that exactly as we thought, but we did create something like it. Since then, without fail, at least 2-3 people use it per drop. It is a gratifying moment every time I see an order like that. It is a reminder to myself that, even if sales are down from last year or something didn't have the buzz or response I thought it would, I am still going in the right direction!

What is an interesting fact about your wares / business that you want to make sure everyone knows?

The most interesting fact is that I couldn't do this without my husband. These items are made with love, literally, and manufactured with all the patience in the world by the best guy in my universe. I could not have gone this long as a small business owner without him. My ADHD was getting in my own way when it came to actually making the items in a timely manner. He stepped in with his love for efficiency, and he basically gamified the process to challenge himself and make it fun was a pleasure to watch unfold. So when you use our stickers, and you are impressed with how precise the cuts are, that is all because of him.

Looking over the list of artisans this year, what is one of the booths you are looking forward to visiting?

Chunkie Bunnie Art has such an amazing art style. I am looking forward to seeing what they are bringing. I will definitely be getting a few wooden bookmarks for friends this year at least!
