Be a Movie Producer!

Join OHM Productions in Supporting a Local Film Production

Do you want to help make a movie? Want to add Movie Producer to your resume? Sure, we all do! Now is your chance. OHM Productions has started an Indiegogo for their latest short film – Emotional Support Demon. OHM Productions is none other than our geeky friend Mark Lucas (or O_Hai_Mark, to most). This will be the third film he has helped produce, only this time he is doing most of the Producer legwork himself, and he would love your support. The goal of the Indiegogo campaign is $5000, which would be used to cover production expenses such as location rental, lighting, sound, actors, craft services (you gotta feed the actors!) and transportation. There are several different perks to choose from – from $5, which gets you a thank you at the end of the film to $300, which gets you an Executive Producer credit and all of the other perks.

Emotional Support Demon has a script written by Bill Mulligan and is subversive, funny and actually scary at times. It focuses on the nature of good and evil and the folly of pride. The film will star Angela Pritchett, Tom Gore, EmLee Vassilos and Bill Mulligan. It will be directed by Dave Harlequin. They plan to shoot in October in North Carolina with the hopes of getting the film out to film festivals for next con season.

So, if you are able, click HERE and help support our local film makers and actors! If you are not able to help financially, please share the Indiegogo link and help spread the word. This is going to be a great film and we look forward to seeing it!

Be sure to check out the other films that Mark helped produce – Bobby Came Home, directed by Dave Harlequin and The Blue-Eyed Boy and Mister Death, directed by Jaysen Buterin.  We have some talented filmmakers in the area – let’s band together and get this film made!
