Welcome to another spotlight on the Geekery Market artisans! Today we have a long time supporter of The Charlotte Geeks, Greg Russell Graphic Design & Illustration! Greg has designed many logos, graphics, and even our lovely Geekery Market postcards and flyers for The Charlotte Geeks. Greg is a master of InDesign, QuarkXPress, Illustrator, Photoshop, Macintosh computer maintenance, oils, acrylics, watercolor, pencil and pen and ink. He is also a writer, a photographer and web designer.

What kind of geeky goodness will you be bringing with you to the next Geekery Market?
I will give away free copies of Inx comic book/’zine. I will be selling the giant-size, full color fifth anniversary edition as well as cartoon pun books, horror posters, superhero and monster art prints, Charlotte-centric t-shirts, magnets, stickers and buttons.
What's an item you are bringing that you are really excited about?
The cartoon pun books have been hugely popular. The writer and I have created puns for accountants, attorneys and engineers.
What was the first item you ever made? How did you learn to make it?
I minored in painting in college, so I guess that was the beginning of it.
What else would you like everyone to know about your wares?
They are “a nerd’s wet dream” as one fan put it.
If you could travel anywhere in space or time, real or imagined, where would you want to go?
I would help Doctor Who save Gallifrey.

The event is FREE to the public, but we are requesting a donation of canned goods or cash which goes to our charity, Second Harvest Metrolina.
