Welcome to The Geekery Market (formerly the Muggles Market). We are excited for our next event – just in time for all your geeky holiday shopping needs! As usual, we’ll be introducing you all to our artisans/authors/artists, sponsors, and activities for the Market every week as we get closer to the big day.
Please allow me to introduce to you one of our new artisians, EonHawk, LLC. Lois Songster creates art prints, stickers, and a variety of artistic merchandise, as well as original art. They create their items in the themes of mythical creatures, nature, aesthetic environments, and animals. So that you can get to know this artisan better, we’ve asked them to tell us a little about themselves and what they do.

Tell us about the geeky goodness you’ll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! EonHawk is coming to the 2023 Geekery Market with art of mythical creatures, wildlife, and magic. My work is whimsical, joyful, and full of animals that can be both fluffy and dangerous. There will be prints, original artwork, and small merchandise, which you can see sneak peeks of on Instagram!
How did you get started doing what you do? I’ve always created art, but I began taking it seriously as a job when I choose an art major in college, and have never looked back.
What’s an item you are bringing that you are really excited about? I’m so excited about my eco-forward prints. Customers can be happy to know that these prints are printed on luxurious bamboo fine art paper ( a sustainable choice) and printed by a small local print shop who I collaborate with (Big Panther Art!).
What else would you like everyone to know about your wares? I try to be as sustainable with my art as possible! I will happily talk your ear off about merch, where they come from, and how I make the eco choice without sacrificing the aesthetic.
What’s your favorite holiday story? The Legend of Holly Claus, a beautifully illustrated Christmas story.

Come see us on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10am to 4PM at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center – 4751 NC Highway 49 (Event Center B). The event is FREE to the public, but we are requesting a donation of canned goods or cash which goes to our charity, Second Harvest Metrolina . Please note that this location does charge for parking: $7 per car, $15 per van, $25 per bus (credit/debit only). See you there!
