We are excited to announce the return of the Muggles Market, just in time for Valentine’s Day! This year’s theme is Muggles Market: Love and Plunder, combining our adoration of pirates and love. As usual, you have a wonderful opportunity to get to know our artists, writers, artisans, and entertainment through our Muggles Market Spotlights.
Clearly Unique Glass Studio is owned and operated by Shelley Hyman and her family. We’re quite excited to bring this artisan to you because … well, they are clearly unique!
We asked Shelly a few questions about their life, work, and what treasures they’ll be bringing to Muggles Market: Love and Plunder.
Please tell us all about the plunder you’ll be bringing to Muggles Market.
We are excited to be bringing some of our custom nature works. Just for the Muggles Market, we will be creating lots of new works including Magical creations, Mystical creatures, and even some fairy pieces.
How did you get started making your glorious plunder?
The studio was started ten years ago when we decided we wanted to find away to work from home and spend more time with our Muggle children.
We used some magic and created a world for all to enjoy and use their talents.
What’s an item you are bringing that you are really excited about?
We have created several specialty pieces that are magical and mysterious. We can’t wait to see what all the attendees think.
What else would you like everyone to know about your wares?
We are a family business. Working with our Muggle children we have created a magical place for all to use their creative talents. We hold workshops and classes for all to attend.
What’s your favorite love or pirate story and why?
Our family are movie lovers and book readers. To pick a favorite would be impossible. However, Harry Potter seems to win out.

Workshops are set up to either be a create your own piece with your ideas (and they help you along the way) or full instruction workshops were everyone makes the same piece.
