What makes the Geekery Market unique?
- We are a juried craft event, which means we limit the amount of sellers per category in order to ensure the best sales opportunities
- Started in 2016 (formerly known as the Muggles Market), we are seasoned event runners with a strong local community presence
- Our marketing program is year-round including in-person, local hotspots, print, social media, podcasting, and paid advertising
- We focus on the community – supporting small business and helping our neighbors through our food drive
- Our goal is to ensure attendees want to stay longer and shop more
- Admission is FREE which means they have more money to spend with our sellers
- We run an hourly raffle so people stay just a little longer to see if they won
- We provide fun activities (many free) for all ages in a safe and inclusive environment
- On-site concessions are available, and we provide seating for folks to rest and enjoy

- 10 Years: This year marks 10 years, and we will be celebrating – more details to come!

- Jedi Santa/TARDIS expanding and moving to the front, making space for another sponsor booth

- We will not have a performer area this year, instead we will be playing geeky seasonal music over the upgraded (!) sound system (curated by Charlotte Geeks’ founding member DJ Spider)
