Today's spotlight is with returning artist, Cat McGill of Leveled Up Geek from Duncan, SC.  Cat is a creator of meaningful statement jewelry and hair pieces that will showcase the wearer's interests, open doors for conversations, and are pieces of wearable art that serve as reminders to the wearer of who they are at their core.

What Else You Should Know About Them:

What kind of geeky goodness will you be bringing with you to the next Geekery Market?

I make handmade geeky earrings, ear cuffs, and hair accessories (new this year!) My current themes are dice, celestial, greek mythology, and fairies. I'll have exclusive pieces I only bring to conventions available as well.

What's an item you are bringing that you are really excited about?

My new dice hair sticks have been super popular and they're so fun to make! Each one is its own little work of art.

What was the first item you ever made? How did you learn to make it?

I started making seed bead necklaces and animals when I was a teenager. My friends had learned and then taught me.

What else would you like everyone to know about your wares?

I use hypoallergenic stainless steel in all of my earring findings which minimizes allergic risk for most people. I also offer customization services on the spot - within reason, I can transform my earrings or cuffs into exactly the piece you want. Need clip ons instead of wires? I can do that. Need a piercing post instead of a cuff on my chained cuffs? I can do that too, no extra charge.

If you could travel anywhere in space or time, real or imagined, where would you want to go?

Middle-earth!
