What Else You Should Know About Them:
Describe all the geeky goodness you'll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! What kind of items will you be selling?
As an independent author of over 20 family-friendly fantasy novels, I write, fun, fast-paced adventures that will keep you turning the pages and give you an escape from the world.
What is something that surprised you about making / selling your wares?
I think the thing that has surprised me the most is how compelling it's become to keep telling stories. I usually have at least my next one or two stories in mind before finishing the ones I'm actually working on.
What has been one of your favorite stories so far while running your business?
Kids. By far, being told by several kids that my "Wand Chasers" series are their favorite books. It's always a thrill when that happens with anyone for any book, but when it's a kid, that somehow makes it even more special.
What is an interesting fact about your wares / business that you want to make sure everyone knows?
I would say to be selective but also give independent authors a shot. There are a lot of us out there writing some pretty great books, who just don't fit into the current traditional publishing model.
Looking over the list of artisans this year, what is one of the booths you are looking forward to visiting?
I think that, as a group, it would have to be checking out the other authors who will be in attendance. I've made some great friends over the years doing this type of event. Also, just looking around in general. I'm always amazed by the creativity of people.
Come see them live at The Geekery Market on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 10am to 4PM at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center – 4751 NC Highway 49 (Event Center B). The event is FREE to the public, but we are requesting a donation of canned goods or cash which goes to our charity, Second Harvest Metrolina.
This location does charge for parking: $10 per car (credit/debit only). See you there!
