Answers to our 5 Geeky Questions
Tell us about the geeky goodness you’ll be bringing to the next Geekery Market! All of my creatures are hand-made from wool, using the needle felting technique.
How did you get started doing what you do? I remember seeing a small, felted deer somewhere and thought to myself, I wonder if I can do that? I started small, but I was hooked from the very beginning.
What’s an item you are bringing that you are really excited about? I’m really excited about these new beetles I’m working on. My goal is to make an array of really cool, unique insects that are larger than life.
What else would you like everyone to know about your wares? All of my creatures are hand-made by myself. Each piece is made completely out of wool. They take a long time to make because l use a single barbed needle to form the wool.
What’s your favorite holiday story? The Princess Bride, (the book, and the movie). I love to watch the movie around Valentine’s Day.

The event is FREE to the public, but we are requesting a donation of canned goods or cash which goes to our charity, Second Harvest Metrolina . Please note that this location does charge for parking: $8 per car, $15 per van, $25 per bus (credit/debit only). See you there!
