Goodwill Gaming Event: Play and Trade!

Goodwill’s technology store, The GRID: Powered by Goodwill, is hosting a Gamer Meet-Up to celebrate one year of being at its current storefront location on Wilkinson Boulevard. It sounds like a fun event!

WHEN:

Friday, November 18, from 5 – 7 p.m.

WHERE:

The GRID, which is located at The Goodwill Opportunity Campus at 5301 Wilkinson Boulevard in west Charlotte.

To celebrate The GRID opening its current location one year ago, they’re hosting a Gamer Meet-Up. Gamers of all skill levels are invited to join – whether you’re an expert gamer or simply like a good Mario Kart battle every now and then, this event is for you!

  • They’ve rented a couple of NASCAR simulators from the local, professional e-sports team, The Charlotte Phoenix, that guests can try out for themselves.
  • They’ll also have a couple of retro gaming stations set up.
  • Guests can enter a raffle to win a variety of gaming prizes (including a gaming laptop, a gaming PC, and a PlayStation 4).
  • Stop by the merch table to get some free swag.
  • There will be a food truck on-site and other light refreshments available.
  • Guests are encouraged to bring games to trade with other guests.
