There’s something rather awesome about the power of the internet. For example, yesterday I posted on Facebook about one of my foster dogs, Rascal – showing his latest photos, extolling his attributes and virtues, in general, just telling people what’s going on and asking them to pass his info along so we can find him a forever home. And then, the coolest thing happened. Peter Mayhew, the man inside the Chewbacca suit, commented on my post! Now granted, he shares his Facebook with his wife Angie, and it might of been her, and not him, or one of his assistants. But the fact that someone of such great presence would take the time to comment on my post, out of all his 5,000 facebook friends, and have my post not even be a geeky post at that.
Well, that, my friends, is just awesome.
