We are excited to announce the return of the Muggles Market, just in time for Valentine’s Day! This year’s theme is Muggles Market: Love and Plunder, combining our adoration of pirates and love. As usual, you have a wonderful opportunity to get to know our artists, writers, artisans, and entertainment through our Muggles Market Spotlights.
Amber Litfin of Sagemoon Hollow Creations is another returning artisan with our Muggles Markets. We asked Amber a few questions about their life, work, and what treasures they’ll be bringing to Muggles Market: Love and Plunder.
Please tell us all about the plunder you’ll be bringing to Muggles Market.
At Sagemoon Hollow Creations, we specialize in fantasy-themed polymer clay creations, as well as hand-crafted jewelry. We use a variety of mediums to create unique pieces of wearable art; whimsical items such as hand-painted pendants, fairy garden houses, charms, earrings and more!
How did you get started making your glorious plunder?
We started crafting together for fun many moons ago, long before selling together. After attending our very first Comicon back in 2018, we left knowing we had what it took to make and sell the things we created. We started infusing our love of fantasy, DnD, Ren Fest, magic, and all things strange and spooky into our craft to create our unique brand!
What’s an item you are bringing that you are really excited about?
We love our new mushroom terrariums. We have ones that are large, very detailed and thoughtfully crafted, as well as tiny mushroom house terrariums that are inches tall and adorable!
What else would you like everyone to know about your wares?
Each item is hand-crafted with love by your favorite local elves (us!). We love creating beautiful things to bring to the world and are willing to work with you to create custom pieces as well.
What’s your favorite love or pirate story and why?
The Princess Bride! It’s the greatest love story ever told…rodents of unusual size, giants, fights to the death, and pretty much everything you could want all in one movie.
