We are excited to announce the return of the Muggles Market, just in time for Valentine’s Day! This year’s theme is Muggles Market: Love and Plunder, combining our adoration of pirates and love. As usual, you have a wonderful opportunity to get to know our artists, writers, artisans, and entertainment through our Muggles Market Spotlights.
Harriet Russell of P3-Mindful Awakenings is a returning artisan and long time friend of the Muggles Markets. We asked them a few questions about their life, work, and what treasures they’ll be bringing to Muggles Market: Love and Plunder.
Please tell us all about the plunder you’ll be bringing to Muggles Market.
I will be bringing MyIntent Word bracelets. Customers will get to create their word of virtue, purpose, intent or goal on a bracelet to serve as a reminder or promise to themselves. I will also have Intention magic or keepsake boxes, healing crystals, 304-page journal books, and copper bracelets.
How did you get started making your glorious plunder?
As a wellness coach, I believe that everything in our lives centers around wellness and the way in which we care for ourselves. Making jewelry has always been a passion of mine. Sadly, I had to put it on hold as I pursued my life coaching certification. Upon completion and establishing my practice, I wanted to find a way to connect all parts of my passion for health, fitness and wellness, so I created the Mindful Awakenings addition to P3 Holistic Health. My goal is to create and sell products that can be used to help people on their wellness journey.
What’s an item you are bringing that you are really excited about?
I am really excited about the MyIntent Word products. I get to connect with individuals who may need to find “their word” by doing a quick laser-focused coaching session with them. I love to connect with people on that level.
What else would you like everyone to know about your wares?
My wares are intended to help people become more mindful, support their health and wellness journey, and serve as reminder of who they are and what they want for themselves. It is my hope that people purchasing my products will see it as a jump-start to them realizing their own strength, and become the catalyst that will allow them to step into their personal power, mind, body and spirit.
What’s your favorite love or pirate story and why?
For my favorite pirate story, I would say the kid that refused to grow up, Peter Pan. I feel as adults, we lose the most important aspects of our purpose on this planet. We become rigid, laugh less, play less and take life for granted. I strongly believe that our purpose on this big amazing spinning ball is to experience all there is to experience, laughter, sadness, pain, fun, and playfulness. We need to capture the essence of Peter Pan, refuse to let life suck out the child in us. and refuse to allow our innocent bright eye wonderment to be snuffed down by what we deem as evils of the world.
