QCC selects ‘Blue Rai’ as inaugural Cinephile Favorite Award

Queen City Cinephiles

Blue Rai was shown at the Queen City Cinephiles’ recent event celebrating Music in Film and received the inaugural “Cinephile Favorite” award for the month of April.

About the Film

Named for the blue circumstances he is in, Rai is in love with a woman and doesn’t quite know how to communicate it. Things get out of hand in a video store with his friends and coworkers, and we can’t help but root for things to work out for Rai in the end.

Audience Reaction

A majority of our audience gave it a perfect score, which landed it with the highest average! They loved the story, the cast, added animation for quirkiness in the cinematic tones, and the non-traditional score of electro-pop music.
