Welcome to another Muggles Market Spotlight for 2017! Today, we are delighted to announce the addition of new artisans Zombie Snott to our second annual Muggles’ Market at this year’s Geek Gala. co-owners Karl Klaudt and Patrick Boswell took a few minutes to answer some questions about their business and general geekery.
We will be selling Zombie Snott, which is our radioactive long-lasting fun hair colors along with Zombie Snott/Pterodactyl Club T-shirts made by one of our clients. We make the hair color at our salon Hair Klaudt in Charlotte, NC. We will also have jewelry with us by Lydia Stern of Beadlush.
Zombie Snott co-owners Karl Klaudt and Patrick Boswell were becoming very frustrated hair stylists who were tired of color fading out so quickly. They saw a need for longer-lasting colors that now last longer than their big-name competitors.
Karl’s favorite project was when the color finally stayed on the hair longer than our competitors colors did. Patrick’s favorite project is creating new shades by cocktailing our existing shades.
Karl has been doing hair for over 20 years and spends his days making his clients feel beautiful, while spending his nights as a chemist making the color line. Patrick is our rock star hair stylist who has traveled the world with his band. Lydia has been making jewelry for 20 years.
Karl says the best nemesis for Godzilla would be Donald Trump and Patrick said his nemesis would be Ultra-Zombie!
