Welcome to the Muggles Market Spotlight for 2019! Today, we are delighted to announce the return of artisan Greg Russell Graphics and Illustration to our fifth Muggles Market at this year’s Geek Gala! Greg will be sharing his space with his wife and fellow artisan, Harriet Russell (who will be featured in an upcoming Muggles Market Spotlight of her own). Greg makes many wonderful pieces of art for our Geek Gala and Muggles Market events! Greg Russell took a few minutes to answer some questions about his business and general geekery.
- What kinds of items will you be selling at this year’s Muggles Market?
I sell books, art prints, posters, stickers, magnets and t-shirts. - What is your primary geeky fandom?
Mostly comic books. I dig the old Universal monsters too. - Which sci fi universe would you love to visit and why?
I would like to visit the Star Trek world, especially their Earth. I like the utopian world that Gene Roddenberry envisioned.
- What movie are you looking forward to?
“Avengers: Endgame” of course! - This year’s Geek Gala theme is Geeky Tiki Slumber Party-o-Rama. With whom would you love to have a slumber party (fictional, real, living or dead)?
