Welcome to another Muggles Market Spotlight for 2018! Today, we are delighted to announce the return of Dungeonwears to our third annual Muggles Market at this year’s Geek Gala. Garrett Faith took a few minutes to answer some questions about his business and general geekery.
Once again, Dungeonwears will be unleashing more of what makes us so outrageous, what makes us stand out among the sea of non awesomeness. For this newest year that is two thousand and eighteen we will have new, original, exclusive madcap designs on top quality t-shirts, new paintings for collectors of craziness to adorn their spell chambers, as well as new harvests of stickable art curiosities and our latest crazy Dungeonwears Greeting Cards. You know nothing says Happy Birthday Grandma like a pool hustling piglet.
Slinging fine art to the awesome townsfolk of the Queen City was just a small part of what made last year’s Muggles Market so great. Truly my favorite part of returning to this most excellent geektastic event was the honor of seeing just how much this it has grown from the previous year. I travel this great land on epic quests to bring art and a bit of fun into the hearts of awesome people, and while there are so many shows these days Muggles Market is truly my favorite. I hope to watch it blossom more over many, many years to come.
Well my list of craziness has really been pared down quite a lot over the years. From roof top sword fights, laser shark swimming, to light lycanthropy there been an adventure around every corner. Recently there have been huge events in my life that have been amazing feats: Art Director, Proprietor of a design studio, and now Father are roles that this humble artist has had the honor of becoming lately. Though I do suppose running with the bulls will still be on my bucket list for a while.
As an artist, inspiration is found in almost all my daily happenings. From a brisk puppy walk or just a moonlit minotaur wrangle, seeds of new paintings are planted deep with my madcap mind. Though I would have to say as young inspiring wizard kitten slinger, the paintings of Frank Frazetta really ignited my passion for fantasy art. Though countless comics and video game booklets cannot be counted out as inspiration, it really was the awesomeness, the master of fantasy painting, the myth and legend Frank Frazetta that drove me to be a better painter.
Hmm, though I am found of the sum of my parts, I guess if I could cybernetically enhance my personage, my choice would be to add a tail. Really, I could use another appendage, because being an artist/puppy wrangler/husband/chief/father means things sometimes get a bit hard to juggle. Also to be honest, I think it would be pretty cool.
